Tres
Match the colour or the symbol, stack the penalty cards on the next player, and remember to say it before your last card — or draw two for forgetting.
How it works
One person opens kutuverse.com and creates a room. Everyone else joins by scanning the QR code or opening the link — on a phone, a tablet or a laptop, whatever they already have. Nobody makes an account, nobody downloads anything, and the game runs directly between your devices rather than on a company's server.
Short of players? Add computer players to fill the table, or play the whole thing on one device and pass it round.
How to play Tres
Goal
Be the first to get rid of all your cards.
Playing
Play a card that matches the top of the pile by colour, number or symbol — or any wild. Can't? Draw. If what you drew plays, play it or keep it and pass.
Special cards
Skip ⊘ jumps the next player. Reverse ↺ turns play around (with two players it acts as a Skip). +2 makes the next player draw two. Wild ★ picks the colour; Wild +4 picks the colour and makes the next player draw four.
Calling TRES
About to play your second-to-last card? Press TRES! first. If you're caught on one card without having called, anyone can challenge you and you draw the penalty — but challenge someone who did call, and you draw it instead.
Stacking
With stacking on, a +2 or +4 isn't drawn straight away: the next player can pass it on with another draw card, and the total keeps growing until someone can't — they draw the lot and lose their turn.
House rules
Seven swaps hands with a player of your choice. Zero passes every hand along. Jump In lets you play an identical card out of turn.
Scoring
The round winner scores the cards left in everyone else's hand: number cards at face value, Skip/Reverse/+2 at 20, wilds at 50.
